You rLaughter Yoga Facilitator Mahes Karuppiah-Quillen N.D. is a pioneering advocateof the holistic health of the mind, body and spirit. She is acclaimed for being Malaysia's first Laughter Therapist and Trainer, personally groomed in India in 1999 by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of Laughter Clubs International.
Story of her skills:
Mahes headed a research project at the University of Malaya on the effects of Simulated Laughter and Good Cheers in 2002
Spearheaded the first Laughter Conference on Laughter and Well-Being in South East Asia at the University of Malaya in August 2002
She was instrumental in getting Laughter into the Malaysian Book of records, setting the first laughter record at 5 minutes 18 seconds with 800 people laughing without jokes
Did the happiness Project with Robert Holden (NHS Laughter Clinics) in Oxford, England and continues to teach and spread cheers, happiness and joy.
With a background in psychology, she is a practicing Naturopath with a speciality in Stress Management, Adrenal Exhaustion, Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. She is the current President of Laughter Clubs Victoria Incorporated and calls Melbourne home
Mahes is a Certified Trainer and Speaker with Laughter Yoga International with Australian Cert IV Trainer Assessor Accreditation
To her credit, Mahes has worked with numerous National and Multi National Corporate Companies here and in South East Asia and has skilfully used laughter in various Corporate Scenarios with great success.

LCVi offers a service of helping organisations locate and book an experienced and trained laughter leader/speaker to run laughter presentations and sessions.
